Shakespeare's first name? Anyone?

A couple of thoughts to start off this fine post.

First off:  Sometimes I have to wait for a pedestrian.  Have you noticed how some pedestrians take their sweet bipping time?  They practically crawl across the street.  Today I was trying to turn right on a green light, but there was this chick crossing the road.  She had in her hand some kind of big and awkwardly shaped art project.  But she ran.  She ran across that cross walk because she knew I was waiting for her and I thought, "Woman.  I respect you."

Second:  I don't understand how we as a society have accepted the song "Whistle" into our current top ten billboard hits.  We should be ashamed of ourselves.  And that's all I am going to say because my mom reads this blog.

Third:  A student asked me yesterday, "What was Shakespeare's first name?  Was it just Shakespeare?"  I replied.  "Yes.  His name was Shakespeare Shakespeare."  It was almost as bad as when a student asked me last year what Shakespeare's last name was.  I about dang near quit teaching that day.

Fourth:  I am falling madly in love with my mom's poodle.
Don't judge.  He's full of mischief and gets into trouble about every day and that might just be why I love him.

AND.... That's all I've got for you today folks.  Luckily there is someone else around here who's got a lot more coming at you.  Her name is Deidre and she's the sugar buns responsible for my awesome blog design.  She is my BLOG FRIEND and also my REAL LIFE friend and finding two in one can really be hard these days.  This is a picture at a recent bloggers-be-hip get together.  As you can see, I am wearing a weird combination of orange cardigan, gray workout shirt and mom jeans.  Deidre is to my left.  She's cute, eh?  This was SUPPOSED to be a picture of just me and Deidre but then all these other people jumped in the freaking picture and you know how it is when people jump in pictures.  You can't just say no.  I don't even know who the girl is to the right of me.  I am pretty sure she wasn't even invited, just came to try to steal some food.

ANYWAY... What I have been trying to say is this girl Deidre rocks my socks off.  And now you get to meet her too which should pretty much rock your socks off.  Well!  Looks like no one is wearing socks around this joint!

I know what you are thinking. I will say it for you.

"Where is Bon?! I came here to read about Bonnie's crazy students... who is this Deidre girl? How do you even pronounce her name?"

First, It is pronounced Dee-druh. Second, I have had the same thoughts. Before you go all cray cray on me and move to your next blog... let me tell get you the details. My name is Deidre, and my husband and I blog over at Love, The Skinnys. And now I have exactly... 4 seconds to impress you. To convince you to click through on that little baby hyperlink to my blog. Step into a world of pure imagination  Name the movie.

This is me.
I'm from Idaho.
And I am a pageant girl.
So if it has potatoes or a crown.
I like it.

This is Adam.
He doesn't usually dress like this... I tricked him into taking this photo.
He usually is wearing sports shorts and a tee.
He always poses like this.

I blog on everyday but Tuesday. And that is when Adam takes the reigns.
Here are our top ten favorite things to do...

1. Tell Chuck Norris jokes. Fear of spiders is arachnophobia  fear of tight spaces is claustrophobia  fear of Chuck Norris is called Logic
2. Support each other.. even if it means potentially not getting married for a year after winning a pageant or 40 days of not seeing each other during baseball season.
3. Eat  treats like caramel apples and smores. Caramel apples are our favorite treat and were a huge part of our engagement. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory should be sponsoring our marriage.
4. Sleep in. Well. I like to sleep in. Adam likes to wake me up...
5. Make funny faces. That was actually how my family decided Adam was a good match for me. He makes more funny faces than me.
6. Find hiding spaces and try to scare each other
7. Cook dinner. And go out for dinner. But we like to try making new things. Because that is what you are do when you are married. Have family dinner.
8. Watch Gossip Girl... just kidding... baseball
9. Go on walks and drives. Walks when its warm. Drives when its cold. You know. To keep the climate comfortable.

10. Make new friends

We have been married for about two months. We have no clue what we are doing. But we are learning together. And with a little help from our {blogger} friends. There are all sort of stories I could tell you, but I think my time is up now. So click on over to Love, The Skinnys to hear about baseball, recipes, marriage, pageants, and sleep talking. I promise you a good time or your money back.
