Checking in.

Hi guys!

We have a jewelry market to set up for tomorrow, and whenever that happens I feel like everything else in my life just kind of hits the back burner as I transition into crazy mode.  I'm still learning how to prepare inventory for weeks leading up to a show- it always happens in a crazy dash the two days before the market starts.  (See here for the full craziness of what it's like).  That means that today you won't be getting a "real" post from me.  Greg and I are spending the day making necklaces, earrings, and pricing every piece of jewelry you can imagine.  Tomorrow Greg is doing a guest lesson in my AP classes on Shakespeare (We started Othello on Friday) and then tomorrow night we will set up our jewelry booth.  Hopefully Wednesday things will calm down and I can enjoy such luxuries as doing the laundry, vacuuming the floor, and writing a blog post.  Sometimes I wonder how in the world this became my life, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  Well, unless you count the way where I make a million a year doing nothing and lay out by my pool every day drinking diet coke and readining books.  I'd definitely have it that way.

Thank you guys for being such an awesome group of blog readers and friends.  I know that the people who read this blog are maybe less than a year or two ago, but it feels like the true friends have stayed and I love the community that surrounds this blog. I am really happy where this blog is at right now- a comfortable place to check in with friends and write the things that most matter most to me.  Thank you for letting me do that.

Oh, and in case you're in the market for a new pair of pretty earrings, these are the gorgeous marble studs that just hit the shop yesterday.  They are stunning- one of my favorite pieces in our shop right now.  They will be $10 a pair, but we are introducing them this week at just $8 a pair.  Snag yours now. [Insert lots of heart emojis because you guys are all the best]

Thanks to Aubrey for being my gorgeous model.

You can find the marble earrings here.
