Suit up! (Ten points if you can name the reference)

One of my favorite thing about summer is SWIMSUITS.  It seemed like for the longest time there were no cute swimsuits on the market that covered more than the bare essentials.  The past few years I feel like the swimsuit market has really opened up and there is so much variety now.  Beverly at Beverly Swimwear specializes in handmade vintage inspired suits.  They are adorable and cover up what you want to be covered.  Bev is great to work with and you basically custom order your swimsuit and work on the details with her- you choose the color, the style, and she whips it up for you no problem.

The best part about it all is how freaking affordable it is.  The most expensive suit is only $60 and a lot of the pieces are only $25-30.  A perfect summer suit choice!  Tell Beverly I sent you and I know she will take great care of you. (And wow, how legit do I sound using a phrase like "Tell Beverly I sent you"?  SHEESH!)

Hat: H&M (Similar Here), Sunglasses: H&M, sundress: Old Navy

Suit: c/o Beverly Swimwear, Sweetie Heart style

My favorite part of the suit is the way the materials gather in the middle.  You could have a huge old lunch and nobody would know the difference in this suit!

Time to go swimming now, eh?

Also, thanks to my sister in law, Kylee, for taking these pictures for me.  It's always pretty awkward making people take a bunch of pictures of you trying to look hot in a swimsuit.  Greg is on strike as my personal photographer as he says that he needs to start getting paid for his photography skills.  It's a hard life being the husband of a blogger, isn't it!?!

HAPPY WEEKEND!

  2. Love it! Not sure I'd ever be bold enough to wear a white bathing suit but I am definitely a fan of these new vintage-inspired suits. being tall it's really hard to find a one-piece that is cute and LONG enough for my torso but I'm also a fan of the high-waisted two-piece

Loving the swimsuit, you look lovely in it. I hope she ships to the UK, as I love 50s style things, especially swimwear.
