Happy Wrap

I am taking care of all October's sponsorship stuff today.
Email me at thelifeofbon@gmail.com if you are interested in joining in for October.
It's always a party!  (Click here for more info.)

One of the most overwhelming things about having a baby was figuring out all the stuff.  I stressed big time over what things I absolutely needed, what things would just make my life a whole lot easier, and what things were just a part of America’s obsession with spending money.

I do plan on doing a post soon that highlights all of my favorite baby things.  (I’m warning you, though, there’s not that many.  We keep it pretty simple.)  In the meantime, though, I want to highlight one of my unexpected favorite baby things- my HappyWrap.

Special thanks to Aubrey for snapping these pictures for me.

This bad boy is so easy to put June into and she LOVES it.  It is perfect for shopping when I don’t want to push the giant stroller around.  I also wear it around the house when June is acting fussy.  I just slip her in it and the Voila, I can do all the laundry I want!  (Every mom’s fantasy!)  I’m all about June learning to sleep and play independently, but I must admit that it is awesome to have her so close to me when I want it.  I still have her sleep in her swing or bassinet for most of her naps, but sometimes a woman just wants to feel close to her babe, you know?  (And it's pretty much a guarantee that she falls asleep in it within ten minutes.)

The wrap comes in lots of colors and designs and is one of those baby investments that is just going to make your life so much easier.  Trust me on this one.  (I am totally getting the polka dot one next.)  Right now Happy Wrap is offering 10% off to Life of Bon readers with the code BON10.

Oh, and make sure to visit them on instagram @happybabywrap.  I'm warning you though, it may make you baby hungry.  There's nothing as cute as a baby wrapped up next to you.

And, she sleeps...  I tell you, that wrap is a bonafide baby whisperer!

  3. You both look lovely...but you need to make sure you are wrapping baby correctly so that there are no fall accidents. Please make sure to pull down the front part (with logo) all the way over baby's bottom and knees and make sure it says down when you are walking around. You can see in the last picture that it is bunched up. It should be pulled down smooth over baby's torso.

    Happy Babywearing!

  6. The wrap is seriously the bomb. I love it! The jeans are from American Eagle... I bought them right when I got pregnant and they have been perfect pregnancy/ post pregnancy jeans because they aren't so tight but still look good.

  10. You have become one of the blogs that I read most frequently, and by far one of my favorites but I miss the days when there wasn't a sponsored post every 3-4 days. But I'll still be back everyday keeping up with your adorable family for the posts that made me truly fall in love with your blog. :)

  11. Is it weird that I want to wear one of these even though I dont have a baby? It just looks fun! Now I just need to borrow a baby hahaha

  12. A baby wrap will do that for you!

  13. Shelby thanks so much for your comment! I too miss not doing sponsored posts- believe me it is much more fun to just write whatever I want. Thanks to the income from my blog, though, I am able to work part time and justify the huge amounts of time I put into blogging. If it weren't for the sponsored posts I would be working full time right now, spending much less time with my baby, and likely only blogging a couple of times a month because my schedule wouldn't allow for it otherwise. I appreciate you reading and commenting even though I know it can be frustrating when you want to read quality writing and you get a sponsored post instead. Thanks so much for your support and I will try to find that perfect sponsored/ non sponsored balance :)

  19. I have one of these for our daughter - she's 2 months old and we both LOVE it. I've even caught my husband trying it out even though he swears he only wants to use the structured Ergo one. :) I love your blog - reading about June and your life. You make me want to get back into blogging. Keep on doing what you're doing! :)

  20. love the pictures, the fact that it says 'happy' and the color! do you think these work for small dogs? haaaaaa (only slightly joking)

  21. Is it pretty easy to put on? It looks rather complicated.

  22. Thank you so much EJ! Do you guys have an Ergo wrap? I know my sister had an Ergo for when we were hiking in Europe but it was more a backpack than a wrap- I didn't realize they do a wrap as well.

  23. PLEASE use it on your dog and share the pictures with it!

  24. It take a few practices (and apparently I am wearing it wrong in these pictures) but once you do it a few times it is way easy. I seriously love it.

  25. I was JUST about to order the Solly Baby Wrap when I read this...and then I fell in love with the polka dot one. I think I'll deserve a fun baby wrap after pushing this baby out! Thanks for the coupon code!

  26. Nope - just the "Happy" one - which I picked out based on price and name. Who wouldn't want to put their baby in something named "Happy"? Plus it wasn't crazy expensive. We have a Lile Baby carrier that's structured but not quite as rigid as a backpack. Highly recommend it. :-)

  27. Babies are in my near future (hopefully) so I love reading posts about baby products, even if they are sponsored. I don't know much about babies and everything they need so it's nice to see what kinds of products are out there. Does this wrap make you hot and sweaty? I live in Alabama, and I feel like having a baby wrapped up right next to me would be ridiculously hot and uncomfortable for us both.
