It's a three day weekend! Hip Hip Hooray!
You are going to...
a. Get stuff done! This is the perfect opportunity to catch up on everything that falls behind during the week... clean out the car, organize closets, go to the gym, and catch up on emails. Bring it on weekend!
b. Play, of course! The week is for working, not the weekend! Time to get away, go skiing, spend time outside, get together with friends, and be social. Weekends are meant to be enjoyed!
c. Relax! The week is so exhausting that weekends are ideal for sleeping in, reading, shopping, and catching up on your favorite TV series. Staying in all weekend and doing nothing sounds like absolute heaven.
d. Use the weekend to pay attention to those who you neglect during the week. Love up on the children, spend quality time with significant others and find ways to give little acts of service and make other people feel happy. Weekends are the best time to show other people your love.
What are you?
I'm a definite B. But the older I get the more A I find trying to creep in. Stay away, A!
P.S. Have you ever taken the color code personality test? These answers somewhat match up with you color. If you chose A you are red B is yellow C is white and D is blue. I am a yellow-red.
P.P.S. Whaddya think, do I have a career in writing personality quizzes ahead of me?!?
I've got the whole week off, so I've pretty much planned something fun everyday. I'm also planning on catching up on season three of Downton Abbey! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely an "A" this weekend. I'm cleaning out and organizing all my closets and kitchen cabinets! Hopefully I can work some relaxation in there as well :)

I worked hard on Friday so I can spend all this weekend relaxing with and visiting family (maybe working a little on my resume and LinkedIn, etc.) I took the color test. Very interesting result. Typically I am an orange or a yellow, but now, I came out a blue. I guess I must have mellowed out the past couple of years. Very surprising. But then again, to be honest, I really didn't like most of the options for answer to the questions.

Love your blog, just came across it. I'm a Utah girl too!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a long weekend--the school makes us use our day off for Presidents Day over Christmas break. : ( I spent the morning/early afternoon cleaning, and have been grading since three. (It's now 11:30 here.) I did take fun breaks though! Grade three papers, get on Facebook. Grade five papers, watch an episode of something funny. Etc.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a red...which is my favorite color. :)
ReplyDeleteI am soooo loving my 4 day weekend. The weather has been in the 80's and I didn't put too much on my plate. Hope you are enjoying yours.
ReplyDeleteI got all my laundry done yesterday so I could just relax and hang with my son, but he got sick last night. It's continued into today. Lots of stuff coming out both ends. And a temp. I feel terrible for him. It's so hard to watch a 1 yr old be miserable. Needless to say...I've been doing laundry all day.
ReplyDeleteI had the intentions of being an A and was a B on Saturday and a C today.

I don't have Monday off, but I'm actually pretty glad. On Mondays we have catered lunches at work for this weekly lunch lecture series and it's the best. They always have something yummy. And this week I'm taking Friday off to move into my own apartment!
ReplyDeleteI try to mix A B C and D, but end up mostly with A & C!
ReplyDeleteHope you made the absolute most of this occasion! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, for this weekend, I was A&D. I took Friday off work, but it was not a relaxing weekend. At all.
ReplyDeleteThe bf & drove 20 hours, round-trip, to my hometown and back. We were in my home state less than 48 hours. During this time, we attended a memorial service for a former French professor of mine, we celebrated my brother's 21st birthday, and I attended (with my mother) a bridal tea for my best friend. We also loaded up the bf's parents' van with the rest of my things that I left at my parents' home.
Being at those three occasions was very important. Getting my clothes/dishes/linens/lamps/hats/etc. form home was very important.
But I'm exhausted.
As always, I'd love to win!!
ReplyDeleteWe played, got some chores done, played some more, and relaxed! It was actually a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely all of the above - haha!
