!

20 weeks.
We're halfway, fools!

A few months ago one of my favorite bloggers, CJane, did a post entitled "!"  She stated that she was feeling the happiest that she'd ever felt in her life because she had more to love than she'd ever had before.  I love the way she stated that.  More to love.  As my life progresses, I have more and more to love.

I am thinking hard in my past and trying to remember if there has ever been a time that I was happier or more content than I am right this moment.  I can't think of a time!

This week we will celebrate our three year anniversary!  It's been hard and easy and fun and not fun and wild and peaceful all at the same time!

To celebrate our anniversary on Wednesday we are going out to eat at Tepanyaki!  It's my favorite restaurant!

I exercised every day this week including two runs and a couple of tennis matches!  My body feels great!

The weather has been beautiful!  Winter is over!  Spring is on its way! Yesterday the weather was in the high 50s!  March- June is my favorite time of year!

Every day my stomach grows a little bit more, and in four and a half months I will be a mother!  A MOTHER!

I have felt so much energy and enthusiasm during my second trimester and am so grateful for a healthy pregnancy thus far!

The house is clean!

In four weeks I will fly to Phoenix for three straight days with my college besties! We will stay up late and play cards and gossip all night and go swimming all day long!  Just like when we were roommates!

In June, Greg and I are going to Germany to visit my sister!  I am excited to see my sister and her kids!  She is going to show us the Walt Disney castle and we'll even get to go to Switzerland and Amsterdam!

Today I took a great nap!

I went grocery shopping yesterday and the fridge is full of healthy food!  And some that's not healthy!

Before filling the fridge with new groceries I cleaned it all the way out!  There was lots of old, gross food in there!  And I scrubbed down the whole thing top to bottom!  Now it looks like a brand new fridge!

School gets out in three months!  Already!  The year goes so fast!

I have really been loving teach my AP class!  I finally feel confident and like I am really preparing them for the test in May!

Greg has been so sweet and sensitive toward me lately!  He likes to feel my belly button that used to be an innie and is starting to become an outie!  Every marriage has its highs and lows and right now we're high!

This summer I will swim and play and just bask in the sunshine and free days!  Then toward the end of summer I will push a baby out of me!  Then I will get to adjust to the world with a baby, and how beautiful that I can do all that adjusting during the summer!

I am drinking an ice cold diet coke right now!

Life is good!

P.S.  Stop by tomorrow for a link up that Mindy and I are doing... all of our worst dating stories.  It's going to be lots of drama!  I'm sure you have some to add to the pot!

P.P.S.  Are you joining in with Erin and me tomorrow for Blogger Happy Hour?  This is an online hour session talking about all things blog.  Use HAPPY to get $5 off.  (We are doing one tomorrow night and one on March 20).  The time really is invaluable in getting blogging insights and strategies!  Sign up here.

P.P.S.  It's so exciting to know people that are doing big and amazing things.  A friend of mine from my home town has been working his butt of the last few years coming up with this product- a night light that easily installs right into any electrical outlet cover.  They put the project up on kickstarter last week with the hopes of raising $12,000.  Welp, they raised $100,000 in one day- that's how ingenious the product is.  You can get the product through kickstarter now for a discounted price of $12 per outlet cover.  (When they retail they will be $20 per outlet cover.)  The product ships in April.  I just know I'm going to see these guys on Shark Tank before I know it!  You can see and purchase the product here or you can read the article Business Insider did on them last week here.

    1. My hair very rarely looks like that, just so you know! And the idea was I'd wear the shirt in all the pictures to show the progression of the stomach... I don't know if the shirt will make it all the way through though!

  15. My best friend always talks about how she uses excessive amounts of exclamation marks in everything she writes and how it might be a bad thing, but I think enthusiasm should never be contained! Wonderful post :)

    1. I agree! It really is such an amazing process. I try to not be too obsessed with my growing stomach but it seriously blows my mind that life is being created inside of me. I agree with your word choice- awe inspiring!

  18. Check with your airline that you can fly at X weeks along. I think most don't let you fly after 33(?) unless possibly if you have a dr note. I am due July 25 and was supposed to be in a wedding in the Dominican may 29- June 2 and I'm 32 weeks then. We canceled our plans cause I am too uncomfortable going to a third world country that far along but Germany would be different. Not sure if you are going the beginning or end so wanted to know they may not let you fly if it's the end of June. Hopefully you can!

    1. Thanks Stephanie! We definitely checked with both the doctor and the airlines before booking tickets and planning our trip. I am a bit clueless on some things, but try to not be a total idiot :) The doc said no flying past 36 weeks, and I will be flying out at 32 weeks and flying back at 35 weeks. We really wanted to make the trip work before we had the baby so we are squeezing it into the few weeks after school gets out and before I enter my final month.

    1. Cleaning the fridge is one of those things that I never do until it gets absolutely terrible and then I realize I've been living in squalor. It really makes such a difference to have it cleaned out!

  20. Wow, life IS good! And you look great :-) I totally agree with you, I don't think I've ever felt as happy as I have in this pregnancy, it seems like everything is just falling into place! And it IS because there's just more to love in my world now! Plus, July keeps coming faster and faster!
