To paranthesize

Alright, alright, I admit it, I got that quote off of pinterest!  But that doesn't mean I like pinterest and it doesn't mean I am joining pinterest, in fact I am still totally pinterest free! (If you REALLY want to know why I refuse to join pinterest you might want to read this.)  BUT... I found it on some else's blog.  And I liked it.  So there.  You got me.  (Confession:  In a moment of weakness I actually tried to get on pinterest.  Then they said I wasn't allowed but that I could request an invite.  So in a second moment of weakness, I requested said invite (You know how it is with moment of weaknesses don't you... one follows another! (I wonder how many paranthesis inside of paranthesis I can do (I don't know but this guy next to me at the library is chowing down on a stalk of celery and how weird is that?))) and you know what?  PINTEREST NEVER SENT ME THE INVITE!  Which just goes to show:  a) Pinterest is a brat and b) I was never meant to join.)

Can I get an Amen?!?

P.S. Extra credit if you can correctly identify how many individual paranthesis marks there were in this post.

  1. LOVE that quote! Pinning now lol! Also celery is delish and there's no way to eat it without crunchin... ya know, unless you're a lady... which I guess I am not and surprisingly I'm ok with that :)

  3. It could take a couple of weeks for the invite to arrive because of the backup in requests to join pinterest so you could still get one in the future. Just a heads up!

  4. When I first tried to get on pinterest, I did what you did, tried to join on my own and nothing. But when a friend sent me the invite to join, I got on in a matter of minutes. Not to mention that the original one I tried with replied back a week after I got approved. They are slow........and yes probably a brat!

  5. It took me three tries to join pinterest when I first heard the idea of it I thought it was lame. Now I'm in love with it and it makes my DIY projects ridiculously awesome! :)

  7. Great quote! I love Pinterest. It is my favorite. I know that is probably not what you wanted to hear, but I love having a place to bookmark with pictures. That way, I don't have to remember what my cryptic bookmarks mean when I am trying to find something on the web later on down the road! Plus, I get the most traffic for my blog from them! Just a thought. And if you want an invite, just send me your email address and I will get you one! ;)

  8. Hey, perhaps I should read why you don't get on Pinterest, because I am beyond hooked. I'm talking therapy....it's not pretty. :)

  10. Your date with a man who is not your husband was hysterical...I literally LOL'd at you "saving his life." Although I don't doubt that rock climbing would be extremely difficult. You're a lot more ballsy than I am that's for sure!

3 POOLS!?!?! Even if I was filthy, stinkin' rich I really don't know what I could possibly do with 3 pools. Or 20 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms for that matter. Imagine the poor maid, that's 25 toilets that need scrubbing.

  11. I succumbed to the pressure yesterday. But after getting my invitation, creating a user name (so hard!) and choosing my "areas of interest" I was exhausted. And now I have to set up boards?? I might not make it.
